Yesterday I went and saw the movie Superbad at the local theater. When I first saw the trailers on TV, I was laughing. But I never thought that it would be an interesting enough movie to go see in the theater. However, after hearing great reviews from critics and friends, I felt that I may be wrong.

It was a really good movie that had me laughing all the way through, along with the entire audience. It is very inappropriate, but very funny. I hope Seth Rogen can make some more scripts like this. The movie wants you to actually live a day in the life of as one of these kids, ecstatically McLovin!

The last 2 weeks have been a blast. Just a lot of fun all around with friends and family.

First off I have completed a personal goal of mine for the last 10 years and that was to get on tv! Yep, when my friends(from the Brewer Blog) and I went to the Milwaukee Brewer game, we brought a 5 foot sign with us saying “Fielder For President.” The tv station broadcasting the game then put us on at the beginning of the Brewers 1st inning for at least 10 seconds :).

Then as the next day as promised we went to the Chicago Cubs game in Chicago. It was interesting to see how the two baseball stadiums are so different. Ofcourse the Brewers had the better one because it was new, parking was easier, you can tailgate, and has a jumbotron you can catch replays on. But at this game I saw Barry Bonds hit his 752nd and 753rd career homerun. The Giants almost won over the Cubs, only if they didn’t have a horrible defense in the first inning.

Then on that weekend I went home and celebrated my Uncles 50th birthday with my family and stayed out pretty late having a fun time.

Then for the past week all I have been doing is visiting friends and having a blast with them, the only way a college kid knows how.

For the ending of this week I will be seeing a good amount of baseball in person. Today I will be going to the Milwaukee Brewers vs Arizona Diamond Backs game in Milwaukee. We have had this game planned out for a month when my friend Alex got tickets for the game. This will be my third Brewer game of the season I will attend.

Then tomorrow,  I will be headed to the Chicago Cubs vs San Francisco Giants game in Chicago. I will be going with my roommate Bryan who got the tickets to this game. Too bad Barry Bonds won’t be hitting his famous homerun here since he hasn’t been playing in the last few games. But it will be fun to go and make fun of the Cubs since their fans come to Milwaukee and get obnoxious too. Hopefully, it won’t rain tomorrow since the stadium has no roof.

I really can’t wait, it will be really fun!

I have just noticed how time is flying by this summer break. In a few more days I will only have a month left of summer break before school starts. It will most likely be my last year and then I will have to start a full time job, unless I get lucky with something else. Hopefully I can have soime more fun before school.

Sorry for not posting in a while. But that is because it is summer time and things tend to go slow. I have been doing the same old things that may not be interesting enough to post about. But I will tell you anyways.

Last weekend I went camping in central Wisconsin at a state park called Devil’s Lake. It was a neat area with a big lake, big bluffs, and great camp sites. I only spent one good day up there where I went hiking up the bluffs on step rocks and later sat at the beach on the lake.

For the Fourth of July I went to the biggest music festival in the United States located in Milwaukee called Summerfest. I only stayed for an hour and pretty much walked around the whole time. On that day they had no singers or bands that I wanted to see, so I instead left to see fireworks in Whitewater where I am living.

Currently I am just working and waiting to get some money in the bank before I start any website projects so I can support them. I need to decide still what I really want to do.

About 3 weeks ago I went to go cellphone service shopping and was stuck between going for Sprint or US Cellular who have good coverage in Wisconsin. I went to a mall nearby my house and went to check out the kiosks and stores. I found a plan at Sprint for $40 a month which had a great deal on the Motorola Razr v3m. But I wasn’t sure if I wanted to pay that much. But when I went to the US Cellular store they offered a better plan for the $40, but they had no deals on the razr phones.

So I ended up going for the Sprint plan of $40, which most notable features were the 450 minutes and nights/weekends at 7p.m.

However, when I was surfing some forums which talked about Spring cellphone services I found a great deal that wasn’t 100% guaranteed. It was called the Sprint SERO Plan which was intended for Sprint employees to refer friends to Sprint and get them deals at nearly half off. Most off the people on the forum said that you could try and send a fake email to Sprint customer service about how you were told you could get the SERO plan at the store, but they couldn’t initiate it at the store.

Well I sent them an email and I was accepted with no hassle! So I am very excited that for $30 a month I get 500 minutes, nights/weekends at 7.pm., free roaming, unlimited internet access, unlimited picture mail, unlimited instant messaging, and unlimited text messages! This deal is easily worth $80 or more.

I’m glad I went with Sprint now.

First I would like to say Happy Father’s day to all the fathers out there who take care of their children. It is a real nice day up here in Wisconsin. Sadly, I wasn’t able to see my dad today since I am an hour away from my parents and they spent the weekend up north so they are too tired to come ansee me. But I will be visiting them next weekend hopefully angd give my dad his gift.

Yesterday I went to a drive in movie theater with a friend of mine, about 15 minutes north. It was the first drive in movie theater I have ever been too since there aren’t too many left in Wisconsin. There use to be one by my house, but it was torn down about 5 years ago.

The movies listed were Ocean’s 13 and Lucky You. Ocean’s 13 was a good movie to see. I have never seen Ocean’s 11 and 12 so I wasn’t fully filled in on all of the story.

Lucky You was a movie about a  hotshot poker player who tries to win a tournament in Vegas, but is fighting a losing battle with his personal problems.  It seemed to be more of a chick flick that was somewhat predictable and was a slow, uninteresting movie to see late at night.

After a week of not having the internet. We finally were able to get Charter to come and hook up the internet in my new apartment. This is great, because I can start posting again and precede at starting my internet empire.

The only downer about this internet is the high price. Charter really screws people over with charging $60 a month for 5MB connection which Time Warner charges much less for, but we can’t get them since they don’t cover this area.

I recently moved to a new apartment and am waiting to get internet. It will take a few days before I can get online and write blog posts again, due to Charter cable having a bad installation system. I will be able to get online at work, but may not have time to post when I am doing work.
